PLATE MAKING TASTER CLASS | SUNDAY 1ST JUNE 2025 | 5:00-7:30PM | N1 STUDIO
Come spend a joyful afternoon at our newly renovated De Beauvoir studio with our plate making hand-building class. This meditative and fun session is perfect for anyone eager to explore working with clay and create their own unique plates. We’ll start with a brief introduction to the studio, the materials, and a hand-building technique known as “slab building.” By the end of the class, you’ll choose your favourite piece for us to glaze and fire. Your beautiful creations will be ready for you to collect in about eight weeks.
You can chose one of three glazes to have your chosen piece glazed in by us: Transparent, Gloss White and Celadon. Your teacher will show examples of all three glazes in the class.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE COURSE
The price includes all clay, materials, and firings.

REFUND POLICY
We’re a small, ethically run business - which means we pay our lovely team properly and keep our classes as accessible as possible. To make that work, we can’t offer refunds for Taster Classes, so please do a happy little calendar dance before booking to double-check your dates.
That said, life happens! If things go sideways:
🤍You can swap your booking to another Taster Class up to 14 days before your session.
🤍Inside 14 days? No swaps, but you’re welcome to gift your spot to a mate or family member (spread the clay joy!).
Why so strict?
Each weekend, we get numerous last-minute change requests. If we said yes to all of them, we’d have to choose between cutting staff wages or hiking prices - and both options would make us really sad. By sticking to this policy, we keep things fair, keep our team happy, and keep our studios thriving.
Thanks for understanding - now let’s get making! ✨🤍✨
